MOTTO:  A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS
“The mission of the Respect Life Ministry is to enunciate and promote the principle that human life, at all stages from conception to natural death, is a gift from God, worthy of respect and protection. This ministry encompasses prayer, education, advocacy, care and services.”

Whether it lasts for a brief moment or for a hundred years, each of our lives is a good and perfect gift. At every stage and in every circumstance, we are held in existence by God’s love.

As Catholics, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to protect the sanctity of life. The world has become a highly complex society. Many pro-life issues become obscured by this complexity, both at political and medical levels. We need to guard against complacency in the face of this challenge. A good place to start is to be educated on pro-life issues and on our Catholic responsibility to promote life.

This ministry is committed to respond to all issues in respect to the dignity of every person. The objective is to educate all factions of our parish community of the current status on the life issues of abortion, fetal tissue research, infanticide, chastity, natural family planning, euthanasia, physician assisted suicide, and capital punishment; increasing awareness of the need for strong moral convictions, prayer and action. For more information, please contact Todd & Lilith Mackiewicz 863-956-2177.

We encourage all those who are interested to join us in our Respect Life activities:

• Walk for Life
• Baby Bottle Campaign
• Life Issues Seminars
• Rosary for Life
• Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events
• Respect Life Luncheon
• Spiritual Adoption
• Life Chain
• 40 Days for Life campaigns
• and more!

Additionally, the Archdiocese of Miami Respect Life ministry operates five Pregnancy Help Centers that assists those who are pregnant, or think they might be, along with their loved ones. Volunteer opportunities are available at the Pregnancy Centers also.
